US Healthcare Staffing provides innovative locum tenens and permanent healthcare recruitment and staffing services on a national level. We are dedicated to recruiting and placing highly qualified healthcare professionals in select specialty areas. Our rapidly expanding client base is diverse and includes; critical access hospitals, community hospitals, regional and national health systems. In addition, we contract with physician practice groups, management companies, ambulatory-care centers, surgical centers, free-standing emergency departments, nursing facilities, universities, occupational health, rehabilitation and sports medicine clinics, government facilities, and more.
We help alleviate increasing staffing pressures placed on our clients through the provision of locum tenens (temporary) staffing, and also assist them with fulfilling their long-range goals of filling positions with permanent placement.
The United States could see a shortage of up to 120,000 physicians by 2030, impacting patient care across the nation, according to 2018 data published by the AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges).
If you’re an experienced healthcare recruiter or looking to make a transition and enter a new discipline as a healthcare recruiter, the healthcare sector presents rewarding opportunities. Healthcare isn’t subject to the same economic ups and downs you might see in other areas like technology, sales, or hospitality. The data and projections show healthcare recruitment will continue to grow as employers of all types compete over a smaller supply of clinical talent. History shows healthcare recruitment to be the most stable recruitment sector.
The professionals we place make a difference.
We place physicians as well as Advance Practice Professionals (like Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), and CRNAs. Often the providers we place are filling a critical need in a location that would not otherwise have regular access to quality care. Indirectly, through our placements we touch the lives of thousands of patients across the US.
Much of the increased demand for our services comes from a growing, aging population. The U.S. population is estimated to grow by nearly 11%, with those over age 65 increasing by 50% by 2030. Additionally, the aging population will affect physician supply, since one-third of all currently active doctors will be older than 65 in the next decade. As these physicians retire it has a big impact on supply and demand.
At the same time a growing share of health care services are being provided by advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), particularly nurse practitioners (NPs), who make up the majority of APRNs, and by physician assistants (PAs). NPs and PAs provide care that can overlap with care provided by physicians (both in primary care and increasingly in other specialties). More and more demand is on recruiting NPs and PAs into the clinical workforce.
